The process of mortising and the working result achieved depend largely on the properties of the mortising tool. All
ULMIA mortising tools possess the necessary high quality characteristics required to achieve perfect results. All chisels
are manufactured in high-grade special steel with optimum cutting capability. The blade, throat, collar and tang are the
result of meticulous workmanship, and all bevels are precisely ground. The tool handles are made of best quality selected
white beech featuring neatly trimmed grip surfaces, the hoop and ferrule made of steel, and a galvanized strike
buffer depending on the handle.
